Why my Filipina wife won’t lie to me

Why my Filipina wife won’t lie to me

January 10, 2021

This is going to be part of a three-part series about why my wife won’t leave me, lie to me, or cheat on me.  I will preface this by saying I am not trying to be cocky or overconfident.  I don’t like the idea of marrying someone only to live in fear of whether or not they really are in it for the long haul.  Today it will be about why my Filipina wife won’t lie to me.

I have read stories of wives doing things behind her husband’s back, not wanting him to know what they are up to.  Eventually the husband can’t trust his wife.  Here are some reasons I believe I can trust my wife to be honest with me.

Take your mind off of the politcal turmoil currently in America and listen to me describe many reasons why my Filipina wife won't leave me. Casting Beyond The Sea is about helping men be motivated to pursue love overseas and I will share what I have learned in that regard.

This is going to be one of a three-part series about why my wife won’t leave me, lie to me, or cheat on me.  I will preface this by saying I am not trying to be cocky or overconfident.  I don’t like the idea of marrying someone only to live in fear of whether or not they really are in it for the long haul.  One day a coworker of my wife asked her if she thought our marriage would last.  Her response was “Of course!”  She was a little taken aback by that question.

This is not to say that our marriage is perfect since nobody has a perfect marriage.  I want to explain why I am confident that as long as I am faithful to her and don’t abuse her, why I don’t think my Filipina wife will leave me.  You may feel differently about some of these, and that’s okay.  They are just some observations of mine.

Listen to the podcast for my many ways to help protect your marriage.

LIVE-How I Know I Married the Right Filipina + Filipina Finances January 6, 2021

LIVE-How I Know I Married the Right Filipina + Filipina Finances January 6, 2021

January 6, 2021

Although we would all like to be sure we married the right Filipina before we married her, isn’t it fair to just say that at the pre-marriage stage the best we can do is to be reasonably sure?  In our case, from the time I winked at her from across the world, to the day we were pronounced husband and wife, was not even eight weeks.  Was I absolutely sure I had made the right choice, that this woman from Davao City, Philippines was going to be my woman for the rest of my life?

You might say that there was more that I didn’t know about her than what I did know about her.  What I wanted to know the most was if she was a Christian, since I considered that to be essential, in fact, the only must have, the only requirement.  I also knew that she was attractive to me, she was a hard worker, she loved her family, she seemed organized, she was prompt and she liked me!  All that doesn’t guarantee we will live happily ever after but since we have been married and are living here in America, there have been other indicators that I married the right Filipina.

Listen to this live podcast and I will explain how I know I married the right Filipina and I will also talk about being faithful in little is being faithful in much.

LIVE-Does My Filipina Love Me or The Money? January 4 2021

LIVE-Does My Filipina Love Me or The Money? January 4 2021

January 4, 2021

I will also talk about whether or not testing is necessary before marrying a Filipina.

It is normal when pursuing a Filipina to marry, to wonder if she is marrying you for the money..a little bit maybe?  Maybe a lot?  A Filipina you are interested in won’t have the material means you will, so it makes sense that she could marry someone to better her situation.  But there is a difference between marrying a foreigner FOR his money and marrying a foreigner because you are poor, your family is poor and you want to help your family like you probably have been doing for a while.

I think it would be very good for any man interested in a Filipina to recognize that women from poor countries, don’t want to be poor and they don’t want their families to be poor, and if they have an opportunity to marry a foreigner in a better situation, they will do that.  If they could marry someone where they live, they would certainly do that, but if they don’t see that as an option, and she is attractive enough to get a foreign husband, she would be remiss not to do that.  It does not mean that she has no interest in being a wife.

If the Filipina is a good companion, lover, takes care of the house, generally meets your needs, then she is serious about being a wife…too.  It doesn’t have to be a case of “she loves the money but not me at all.”  I think money or provision or security is always going to be an important element for a Filipina and a man would do well to accept this, and I think you do.

The Filipina could think ‘Does he love me or my body or looks?  When my looks go, then what is he going to do?”  Needless to say, the physical attraction is always going to be important to the man.

Let’s say she loves what the money can do but doesn’t love the man, what does this look like? Listen to the podcast and learn how to tell she may be more interested in the money than the man, and what it looks like when she wants to be a good wife.

At the end of your hope-Bible verses that helped me marry Part 5

At the end of your hope-Bible verses that helped me marry Part 5

January 1, 2021

Answered prayer, Obedience, God’s Goodness. I want to share Bible verses about these topics that helped me to not give up when I was single. I waited a very long time for a wife and if I had lost hope God could give me a wife, I might still be alone.

Eph.3:20-Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.  (ended last part with this verse emphasizing what God can do, this time it is on asking God)

1 John 5:14,15- And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

The Friend at Midnight

Luke 11:5-13-And he said to them, “Which of you who has a friend will go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves, for a friend of mine has arrived on a journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; and he will answer from within, ‘Do not bother me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up and give you anything’? I tell you, though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his impudence[a] he will rise and give him whatever he needs. And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 11 What father among you, if his son asks for[b] a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; 12 or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

The Parable of the Persistent Widow

Luke 18:1-8-And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’” And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them? I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”

God tops earthly fathers. God tops earthly friends. God tops earthly judges.

John 15:7,8-If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Job 36:11- If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Proverbs 13:13-He who despises the word will be destroyed, But he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.

Joshua 1:8-This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Psalm 1:3-Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.  He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

1Chron.22:13-Then you will prosper, if you take care to fulfill the statutes and judgments with which the Lord charged Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and of good courage; do not fear nor be dismayed. (obedience)

Psalm 65:11-You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.

Psalm 67:5,6-Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us.

Genesis 15:1-After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

Psalm 63:3-Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.

2Peter 1:3-as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

Romans 8:28-And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.  For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Mathew 5:6-Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.

Proverbs 8:11-21 Talks about the value of wisdom.

Rev.2:9- “I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich)…

Lamentations 3:22-23-Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

Psalm 34:8-Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!

Nehemiah 9:21,25-Forty years You sustained them in the wilderness; They lacked nothing; Their clothes did not wear out And their feet did not swell… And they took strong cities and a rich land, And possessed houses full of all goods, Cisterns already dug, vineyards, olive groves, And fruit trees in abundance.  So they ate and were filled and grew fat, And delighted themselves in Your great goodness.

Proverbs 22:4-By humility and the fear of the Lord  Are riches and honor and life.

Proverbs 13:25-The righteous has enough to satisfy his appetite, but the belly of the wicked suffers want.

Johns 15:5-I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

Some verses from the prior podcast-

Proverbs 13:4-The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.

Psalm 34:10-The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.

Phil. 4:19- And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. (the context is very generous giving)

Psalm 37:4,5-Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Commityour way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.

Matthew 6:33- But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  (material things but not limited to)

Mathew 7:11- If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Rom.8:32-He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Job 1:20,21-At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart.
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.”

I hope you have found some of these verses meaningful to you at this time in your life.  Without them, I would not have found my Love Beyond The Sea
