LIVE-A Good Filipina is a Great Home Security System-Product Review

January 29, 2021

Do you have a home security system? I had never had one, but awhile back my wife witnessed someone trying to break into a garage two houses down the block when she was going to work.  He took off when he heard her close the garage door when she thought she better close it because my mother was home inside.  After that we have been thinking about getting a home security system.

I want to talk about a wonderful home security system for your life that you might not normally consider-a wife!

I will do a thorough product review tonight. A good Filipina wife can protect you from:

Loneliness

Insignificance

Boredom

Hopelessness

Temptation

Divorce

5 Reasons our Wedding Rings are on the “wrong hand”

5 Reasons our Wedding Rings are on the “wrong hand”

January 28, 2021

Once in a while, I get asked if there is a reason that I wear my wedding ring on my right hand instead of the left.  I have been asked if I was European.  I don’t get asked this question often but there are probably more people that have wondered why that is.  I am going to answer this and at the end of this podcast, tell you about another aspect of our wedding that was unique to us-our kiss, but first, what are our wedding rings doing on our right hands?

Was I unaware the wedding ring is worn on the left hand? Is it because I am a rebel?  Do I want to break tradition? Is this the way Fil-Am couples do it?  Could this be a secret sign that our marriage is in trouble?  Well, this wedding ring has been on this finger on my right hand since the moment we were announced man and wife, and here is the reason why.

LIVE-The Value of your Filipina going home to the Philippines January 26 2021

LIVE-The Value of your Filipina going home to the Philippines January 26 2021

January 26, 2021

Let me share what that value is for her to go back home again-Here are some. Listen to the podcast for all of the benefits, that I could think of.

She is revived-My wife has been working full-time and overtime and cooks and cleans our home.  If she isn’t working overtime, she has time to rest and recuperate but she tries to work overtime when it is offered. She is energetic but needs her rest too.  Being able to go back to the Philippines for two or three weeks is invigorating for my wife even though she keeps very busy when there.  She has a lot of family and friends to see and I want her to see as many people as she can.  I don’t think she always gets quite the amount of sleep she would normally get, but she wants to make the most of her time there.  A vacation like this uses up most of my wife’s vacation allowance.

It helps her mentally and emotionally-This is similar to the previous reason, which I intended to be more physical in nature.  Here, we are talking about the good it does her emotional state, her frame of mind, to be back in the Philippines.  She realizes the time will go fast, and she will eventually be back to the usual American lifestyle of work, work, work.

My Filipina wife has made a few more Filipina friends than I thought she might make, as I didn’t think there were all than many here in Nebraska, let alone our city.  In this way, she retains a bit of “home cooking” if you will.  They go to the mall, cook Filipina dishes, even karaoke.  I am very satisfied to see that, but I know that when we get off that plane in Davao, she is eagerly anticipating being picked up by her family for the taxi ride home.  Her family is always there to see us off to America.

She will be able to snap a lot of photographs and take videos of family and friends that will be fun for her to have.  Like they say, “there’s no place like home”.

She is happy-The sum result is that I have a happy wife.  She is able to soak up being back home.  We say we go on vacations to get away and she will have felt like she got away to her favorite place, her home in the Philippines.  When she comes back to America she will jump back into things with newfound enthusiasm, and know that eventually she will be able to do it again, which makes the daily grind of going to work easier to do.

She can see her new nieces and nephews-My wife’s family is enlarging with nieces and a nephew and although we see them on Facebook, it isn’t the same as being there to play with them and hug them and kiss them.

So her family can see her-You can bet if your Filipina wife is looking forward to seeing her family, then her family is looking forward to seeing her. I don’t know exactly the overall benefit of this but I am sure each family member benefits from seeing her there in their own way. Her family cried when we left there recently, there seemed to be more tears than usual.  When I married my wife, someone they looked up to and relied upon, left to go to the other side of the world, they couldn’t know when they would see her next.  I am not suggesting to feel guilty about marrying a Filipina and immigrating her to your country, only to think about the ramifications of it.

She looks forward to it-All the while my wife is working and surviving the winters here, she is probably uplifted to know that maybe in two years, maybe less, we can hop on a plane and make that excursion to the Philippines.  This is probably a source of inspiration to her at some point during the year. I have to admit that I look forward to going with her as well, and much of that is so that she can enjoy the things I am listing here.  I know that it will help both of us as well as our marriage.

LIVE-The Value of your Filipina going home to the Philippines

Tuesday January 26 2021 5 pm Central USA

Even after marrying my Filipina wife and while going through the immigration process, I was aware that at some point, even though she hadn’t even departed the Philippines, at some time she was going to need to return there for a vacation. Today I will talk about how important that is.

Trusting my Filipina Wife with Finances-Giving her Credit

Trusting my Filipina Wife with Finances-Giving her Credit

January 23, 2021

Many guys are concerned about how much to trust their Filipina with finances.  Today I will reveal why I suggested my wife get a credit card for herself. My podcasts and videos are designed to give you help in having a serious relationship with a woman from the Philippines. Comments are always encouraged and appreciated.

I believe there should be trust, otherwise the relationship is off to a bad start. No one can know “everything” about their spouse and to some extent all you may know about the Filipina you decide to marry is what has been revealed to you, either circumstantially or verbally.  We got married very quickly but I made sure to talk to her about finances.

Money needs to be handled with extreme discretion in the Philippines. I would guess that in a family of eight, maybe only two or three are working.  Often, but not always that is the daughters.  They may have to sacrifice what they have for themselves in order to provide for momma, papa and the rest of the family. This may be of necessity but I still think highly of the woman that does this, such as my wife.  I saw it first hand when I met her the first time and married her.

I knew she handled her money situation well (she was a teacher of special needs children), but this does not necessarily illustrate how she would handle “her own” money in marriage or how she views the total money situation from the present until my passing.

Since it is believed that money issues/disagreements are a leading factor in divorce, you want to make sure that before you marry a Filipina, you have discussed the importance of handling money properly in your marriage. The Bible says a lot about how we should handle money or our wealth.

Listen to this podcast and get an inside view of managing the need to trust your Fililipina wife in financial matters.

LIVE-Why Married Sex is Better January 21 2021

LIVE-Why Married Sex is Better January 21 2021

January 21, 2021

In this live podcast I will talk about why I believe that married sex is better than the alternative. Many people feel like sex outside the confides of marriage is the greatest thing in the world but I will share why I can not agree with that. In fact, if you really care about yourself and the other person, sex without being married is the last thing you'd want to do.  Listen to a frank talk about the virtues of limiting sex to marriage only.

PROVERBS 5  Warning Against Adultery

1 My son, pay attention to my wisdom,

turn your ear to my words of insight,

2 that you may maintain discretion

and your lips may preserve knowledge.

3 For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey,

and her speech is smoother than oil;

4 but in the end she is bitter as gall,

sharp as a double-edged sword.

5 Her feet go down to death;

her steps lead straight to the grave.

6 She gives no thought to the way of life;

her paths wander aimlessly, but she does not know it.

7 Now then, my sons, listen to me;

do not turn aside from what I say.

8 Keep to a path far from her,

do not go near the door of her house,

9 lest you lose your honor to others

and your dignity to one who is cruel,

10 lest strangers feast on your wealth

and your toil enrich the house of another.

11 At the end of your life you will groan,

when your flesh and body are spent.

12 You will say, “How I hated discipline!

How my heart spurned correction!

13 I would not obey my teachers

or turn my ear to my instructors.

14 And I was soon in serious trouble

in the assembly of God’s people.”

15 Drink water from your own cistern,

running water from your own well.

16 Should your springs overflow in the streets,

your streams of water in the public squares?

17 Let them be yours alone,

never to be shared with strangers.

18 May your fountain be blessed,

and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.

19 A loving doe, a graceful deer—

may her breasts satisfy you always,

may you ever be intoxicated with her love.

20 Why, my son, be intoxicated with another man’s wife?

Why embrace the bosom of a wayward woman?

21 For your ways are in full view of the Lord,

and he examines all your paths.

22 The evil deeds of the wicked ensnare them;

the cords of their sins hold them fast.

23 For lack of discipline they will die,

led astray by their own great folly.

LIVE-Why My Filipina Wife Won’t Cheat on Me January 12, 2021

LIVE-Why My Filipina Wife Won’t Cheat on Me January 12, 2021

January 12, 2021

This is going to be the third of a three-part series about why my wife won’t leave me, lie to me, or cheat on me.  I will preface this by saying I am not trying to be cocky or overconfident.  I don’t like the idea of marrying someone only to live in fear of whether or not they really are in it for the long haul.  Today it will be about why my Filipina wife won’t cheat on me.

Without question, it can be in the back of a foreigner’s mind who brings a Filipina to his country to be his wife, if she will be faithful to him.  Will she succumb to someone’s sweet talk or put downs of him, and might she think she has it better with someone else?  Will her so called new friends put wrong ideas in her head?  It happens you know.

If you have a large age gap, is it possible that she will be influenced by all the attention she might get from guys her age and cheat on you?  I don’t think there is anything wrong with being aware of this, because it has happened, but what I want to try to do with this podcast is show why I don’t think my wife will cheat on me.
